MusicWorks About The "MusicWorks" Educational Program - Scholarships - Young Artists

Money for the arts in our schools is in short supply these days, so we've come up with a partnership that will help - MusicWorks.

We believe that music plays a crucial role in the healthy development of young people and their education. The Chorale's MusicWorks partnership with Anne Arundel County school music programs helps make sure that music stays a vital part of a school day.

MusicWorks excites and engages the arts audiences of the future, while giving area students the chance to perform in a professional setting through a special concert with the Annapolis Chorale.

To encourage participation in MusicWorks, the Chorale will, at the beginning of the season, send each middle and high-school music director an introductory letter and flyer, which may be easily reproduced and distributed at the schools at low cost. In the following weeks, Chorale staff will check in with each music director to confirm participation and follow up on a regular basis throughout the season.
